I’m a teacher of ICT at Royds Hall High School in Huddersfield. I’m interested in new technologies; specifically their impact on education and the wider world. Hoping to start my PhD in the coming academic year; currently working on a proposal on the impact of ICTs on plagiarism and originality. My undergrad dissertation examined the effect of ICT on literacy & critical thought, and is available for download here.

I have published two textbooks (1, 2) aimed at primary school ICT, and am in the process of gathering together resources I created this year to share with the online community – these will be posted on this website as and when they are uploaded.

I have recently become a big fan of Twitter, meeting some likeminded (and many more differently minded!) people interested in sharing best practice, resources and teaching materials; I’m hoping to extend this through creating this blog.
